As if I didn't have enough to stress out about.

I don't want to go into all the details, because I think crying for over 8 hours is enough.   However, all I can say is I swear my life is one big clusterfuck.   Just when things seem to be going good someone has to rip the rug out from under me.  It's completely ironic how every big event in my life is shadowed by chaos or turmoil.   I swear it's uncanny...I have come to dread birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, births, and holidays.   My family thinks it is completely crazy how I want to sleep these events away, but I totally have a reason.

I have never been so tired in my entire life...if I could take some sleepy pills right now I would.  Instead I lay here thinking about this baby who is due to arrive any minute, and what the future holds.   I just don't know anymore...I have been completely blindsided.

::Don't freak out kiddo is fine, his mama on the otherhand is not doing so great emotionally or mentally::

Sleep:  Is hard to come by.  I try to get rest as much as I can.

Movement: He is still kicking around in there like a mean booger.
Food cravings: No real cravings this week.

What I am looking forward to: Having this little guy out!  I am seriously done with the grossness of pregnancy.
Weekly Wisdom: Just when you think you are in the clear pregnancywise, life can throw you a curve ball.
Milestones: 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced, and -2 station not much changed there, but now I am being watched for pre-eclampsia.  Grrr.

Fair Time!

I feel like a kid again.  The county fair is here, and the colorful lights have me all excited.  If only I wasn't pregnant so I could drag Colby onto the Tilt-a-whirl again.  He's such a wimp and gets nauseous!   HA!

Colby and I plan on hitting it up tomorrow night when he gets off work.  It should be fun!  I have been looking forward to this for awhile.   I am gonna waddle my way around that place and have a bit of fun!  Maybe Colby can win a teddy bear for this little fella!  Of course I suppose I will HAVE to get a caramel apple for the little bugger...lol.

All in all good fun at 38 weeks pregnant!

Things you never say to a pregnant woman.

"Hello Oh Fat One!!!"   This prize came from my boss today.  I immediately called him an asshole just so you know, and informed him this was the worst thing anyone could say to a pregnant woman.   A lot of back tracking and he said he meant to say "Oh Pregnant One"  I laughed and called him a jerk.   Ah...there are some perks to working in my office.  Calling your boss an asshole is one of them...granted he earned the name today!!!

Walk in a park...Ha!

I hate sayings like this and "It's a piece of cake!"  or "Easy peasie pumpkin pie"  because this pregnancy has been anything but easy!!!

I admit my first trimester was not too bad.  This booger mainly just sucked all my life force out of me.  When second trimester hit I was ready for the boost of energy and the unveiling of peen or no peen.  Of course we were delighted by the little dingo in the ultrasound and the dreamy smiles thus ensued.  We came barreling toward 3rd trimester and instead get diverted to a longterm stay in "Infection City"   Oh Joy of joys!!  Two months of abdominal pain and preterm labor pains.  A miracle came upon us and somehow I was cured of these infections and I got two weeks of bliss.  Then WHAM exhaustion hits, my hips creak, and my ankles become mylar balloons!!!    We're literally at the home plate and my doctor tells me I am showing signs of pre-eclampsia.  What the heck!!  Have I not suffered enough?  Can this pregnancy get any more difficult?  Wait scratch that...I can't even ask that because I don't want to tempt fate!!!   To make matters even more fun!!  Do you want to know how they monitor me???  Oh this is delish!!  Of course monitoring me involves a poke...by a nasty mean witch of a woman and a 24 hour urine specimen collection!!!   How fun is that!!!  I was given a one gallon jug, a specimen cup, and oh yes...the toilet hat.   I was told to ahem...pee in said plastic cool whip looking bowl and then put product into ugly jug.  This jug must be kept cool in the refridgerator at all times.  Of course I draw the line at that...Hallelujiah for coolers and ice!!!   This collection is degrading as it is...but then I actually have to carry around said specimen to the lab and wait in a room of people with it.   To make things all the more tasty I may have to do this again next week if my blood pressure doesn't improve.   Just gross...nasty gross, and all because I love my little booger growing in my uterus.

Ha!!!  I am sure you needed to know all about this didn't ya!!!

Call me Moses

I went to the grocery store tonight and I have to say I really must be HUGE! Usually, I get the general grocery rudeness at the store...you know those people who block the entire aisle with their cart, or spend an hour trying to choose between Lucky Charms and Coco Puffs and all you want is your damn box of marshmallow goodness. Well, these people literally blanched when they saw me and moved like the Red Sea.

My Bellay has special ethereal powers!!! Every aisle I turned people moved out of my way, and if they didn't move fast enough they apologized profusely. I have to admit I LIKED IT...LOTS!
